Light und Colours of Rhodes
Exhibition in the Art Park, Archipolis, Rhodes, Greece, 2008.
It is the glistening silver of the early afternoon, the gentle wrapping of the 'small summer' on an October evening, the short moment of day, night and moon at the blue hour, the 'Meltemi' wind.
Then I see the moment like it could be, in my mind. Now it`s time to wait. If there is the possibility of this moment in my mind, it will happen.
When I hear the call of a crow in the morning I know that the wind will change. When the moon changes, I know. It is then that the possibility for my photographs arises. So I go to the place and wait for the right moment to come.
Sometimes I am wrong. Sometimes the moment does not come. I have been waiting for some moments till this day. But there comes a new year and the possibility of space time, light and colour is there on Rhodes, the island of my inspiration.
